Garrett

Last year, I had the pleasure of shooting my first baby photos. Not many of my friends have had children yet, so when Garrett came along, I asked his parents if I could take some pictures of him.

He was such a wonderful model! He simply let me do whatever I thought would look nice, and he never complained. In fact, he slept through most of the pictures.

It was priceless being able to take pictures of this precious little man, and I was very pleased with the outcome of the photos!

Patrick - The Country Boy

I was very excited to take Patrick's senior pictures this past fall. It is rare to find a young man who is "all boy" but has a tender heart which is focused on Christ. His father has taught him the importance of being a man, but at the same time, remaining compassionate and considerate toward others.

The inner joy that exudes from Patrick is very contagious! When I am at church and I hear someone whistling down the hall, I know it is Patrick. He constantly has a song in his heart.

He may have a tender spot, but he is hardworking and motivated young man. He is constantly working outdoors, serving others, playing sports, riding four wheelers... anything outdoorsy, you name it!

I knew this would be a fun photo shoot. Please enjoy looking through the pictures!

First Tennessee Snow

I love the first snow of the year. There is something so fresh and clean about a falling snow. It reminds me of one of my favorite hymns:

"Lord Jesus I long to be perfectly whole.
I want thee forever to live in my soul.
Break down every idol, cast out every foe.
Now wash me and I shall be whiter than snow."

Being from Michigan I am used to having several inches of snowfall on the ground by the time January is here, but living in Tennessee now, I will have to take advantage of the few flurries we received. The snow may have melted before it even hit the ground, but hey... I got pictures!!!

My dog Max had to join in on the fun. So, wearing my PJ's, wellies, winter jacket, and hat and with my camera in hand, we trekked out to the backyard for some spontaneous pictures. I have to say, Max would make a great model for a hunting magazine!
